   This icon combines traditional manner of classic Russian icon painting with describing of real features of architecture and historical persons. In the center of the icon there is the image of Our Lady of Vladimir, the keeper of the Russian land. She is surrounded by medallions with images of the Moscow Princes and religious and political persons. The Kremlin and The Cathedral of Assumption are depicted there in details.

   This icon is one of the most beautiful icons as far as colours are concerned.
