After 11 September: Pictures From the Epicenter of the Tragedy
The Embassy of the USA in Moscow and Moscow House of Photograph invite you to the exhibition of photos taken by Joel Meyerovits "After 11 September: Pictures >From the Epicentre of the Tragedy." The exhibition is organized by the Department of Educational and Cultural Programs of the State Department of the USA together with the Museum of New York City. After the terrorist attack in New York on 11 September, 2001, the Municipal Museum of New York City invited famous photographer Joel Meyerovits to create some photographic archive of shambles and reconstruction work at and near the area where the tragedy took place.
Photographic archive "11.09" consists of more than 5000 objects and is to become a part of the constant collection of the Municipal Museum of New York and is to be used for investigations, exhibitions and publications.
